Hi, I'm Kayla.

I live in Virginia (USA), about 40 minutes outside of Washington DC, with my sister, mom, and our 4 rescue beagles (Hunter, Thumper, Murphy, and Petey).

I’m an NCIDQ and Virginia Certified Interior Designer, Mentor, and Educator. For more than 18 years, I’ve been a part of the Interior Design profession in a variety of roles. Most recently, I spent 4.5 years as an adjunct professor in the interior design department at a local community college.

Now, I utilize my design background and experience as a higher education instructor to help fellow business owners understand and creatively build a business they are passionate about. Some of my clients and students include interior designers, interior decorators, artists, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcast hosts, authors, online educators, and more.

I love scrolling TikTok every day – it’s become a part of my daily routine! I never expected to use video shorts in my businesses (let alone teach others about it!!). But, after launching my first course, Camera-Free Social Shorts, I’ve become passionate about spreading the word on just how important it is for businesses to start using this type of content in their social media marketing strategy!

Not at all! This will work for any industry and niche. In fact, all of my courses and products have been purchased by a variety of other business professionals in various industries and industries.

Will I need to have anything specific for this eBook?

You will be directed to create (or log-in) to ThriveCart Learn to access the digital product. You will also need to be able to view a PDF file.

And, while this digital product does not specifically talk about or show you how to use Canva, if you are using this with my course Camera-Free Social Shorts, you will also need at least a free account with Canva. I also recommend some Canva Pro features in the course, but you should be able to use the free version of Canva without any problem and it is not a requirement at all.
